Lisa E. Orenstein, MSW, LCSW-C, LICSW has studied and worked in the field of psychology and social justice since 2001. She graduated with High Honors from Marlboro College with majors in both psychology and special education. Later, she obtained her MSW from Smith College School of Social Work with a focus on clinical social work and psychodynamic therapeutic interventions.
Ms. Orenstein provides individual and family psychotherapy at Annapolis Mental Health. She specializes in treatment/support for adults and adolescents with difficult life transitions, anxiety, depression, increased irritability, mood swings, relationship issues, suicidal thoughts, crisis management, gender/sexuality spectrum transitions and trauma.
Her eclectic and integrated training and experience allows her to tailor treatment methods to best fit each client individually, depending on their needs and preferences.
Ms. Orenstein is licensed in both Maryland and Washington, D.C., allowing her to provide services for residents of either state. She is credentialed with all plans under CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield and Aetna insurances from both states and provides support in out of area and network coverage. Further, lowered fee rates are available for individuals who qualify.
